Call for Nominations

The nomination period for ABC’s Awards 2019 is open from December through January. After this window closes, the Advisory Board of the Arts + Business Council–composed of distinguished leaders from both the creative and business communities–will convene to review and choose a series of honorees representing the diverse and incredible region that we serve.

Nominations close Friday, January 18, 2019.

Anne d’Harnoncourt Award for Artistic Excellence

This prestigious award is bestowed upon an artist who has achieved national or worldwide acclaim, embodies artistic achievement and serves as an inspiration to the Greater Philadelphia region both as an artist and a leader.

ABC will announce this prestigious award’s Honoree in winter 2019.

G. Fred Dibona Jr. Individual Leadership Award

This honorable award is bestowed upon individuals in the Greater Philadelphia region who have distinguished themselves as leaders in the arts, culture, or creative sectors.

This award recognizes a visual and/or performing arts group that has successfully demonstrated an innovative approach to increasing arts access and engagement. PNC Arts Alive is a ten-year, $10-million program by The PNC Foundation designed to support visual and performing arts organizations. The goal is to increase engagement in the arts, expand audiences, and make the arts more accessible to diverse audiences in the Philadelphia metropolitan area and Southern New Jersey.

Business On Board trains business professionals to be effective nonprofit board members and then places them on boards of arts and cultural organizations. Business On Board also coaches arts managers and their boards on effectively recruiting, engaging, and retaining board members.
