The Creative Entrepreneur – Sartorial Security: Intellectual Property Law for Designers + Brands

Thanks to a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (PVLA) is proud to present a new event series, “The Creative Entrepreneur: Helping Young + Emerging Artists Navigate the Business World.”

The second of this series will be Sartorial Security: Intellectual Property Law for Designers + Brands. The goal of this event is to help designers and brands understand how to protect themselves through various intellectual property channels.

The event will consist of a panel discussion featuring attorneys with different intellectual property backgrounds, as well as small break-out discussions to cover particular areas of law, such as copyright, trademarks, and design patents. Participants will also have the opportunity to have a one-on-one consultation with an attorney to have their specific intellectual property questions answered.
