Upcoming CreativeXchange Workshop:
CreativeXchange consists of four experiential workshop sessions, each focusing on a different approach to a specific creative process. Participants will interact with some of Philadelphia’s top creative minds and investigate several techniques that our instructors use to cultivate a sense of innovation in their work. Our instructors will equip participants with the necessary skills and training to define and develop a repeatable creative methodology that can translate to the participant’s workplace. Session 1 Description:
The Creative Strategy: Becoming a Design Thinker. This introductory session, led by Natalie Nixon, PhD, Director of the Strategic Design MBA at Philadelphia University, will equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to maximize their learning for the duration of the CreativeXchange series. Through interactive exercises and other activities, participants will investigate and explore each of the seven stages of Design Thinking (define, research, ideate, prototype, choose, implement, and learn) and discover how this creative approach to problem solving translates to the workplace, specifically when faced with ill-defined problems.
