Join PVLA for a new Volunteer Orientation required for all new PVLA and PA Patent volunteers, featuring a program overview and presentation on the economic impact of the arts & culture sector in Philadelphia’s creative economy, panel discussions with former clients and volunteers on creating healthy attorney-client relationships, and a case study examining a typical PVLA project assignment. As an accredited PA CLE Provider, PVLA is offering 1 substantive and 2 ethics CLE credits for volunteer attorneys in attendance.

There is a one-time participation fee of $300 associated with becoming a PVLA volunteer.  This fee directly supports PVLA’s continued existence and provision of legal services as a nonprofit organization, and is typically subsidized by the individual volunteer’s employer. Payment of the fee grants volunteer attorneys access to PVLA’s pro bono Caselist, opportunities for paid client referrals, discounts on events with PVLA and the Arts + Business Council, and opportunities to speak at several CLE and Learning Program events.

For any questions prior to the date of the Orientation, please contact Ryan Morris, Esq., Director of Volunteer Services, at 215-790-3822, or [email protected].
