For the second year, we will offer our Digital Drawingboard course, free to participants. Support from organizations big and small – thank you Comcast NBCUniversal, PNC Arts Alive, TD Bank, Philadelphia Foundation, PECO, Pariveda, and the Dina Wind Foundation! – has made it possible for us to provide scholarships to this year’s cohort. Held virtually, the program is unlike any other currently on offer to arts organizations. It’s a four-week immersion in strategies for improving digital practices, but it’s also an opportunity to think about how we address change as a community in general.

We recently reorganized the curriculum to open the program with two frameworks for innovation – design thinking and DEI. We hope these human-centered practices, that encourage open inquiry, will set a foundation for critically addressing how we think about our social media, newsletters, online programming, and more. This year we also offer sessions on new topics, like using augmented reality to enhance an organization’s offerings. And we’re hoping to have ongoing workshops throughout the year for our Digital Drawingboard alumni, encouraging this cohort to stay connected and accountable to one another.

Apply today – we’re especially welcoming professionals who are BIPOC and/or identify with marginalized communities. Join us to find out how to make the most of these technological opportunities.

Best,
