July is the peak of summer, the middle of the year, and a month that feels exactly the same at the beginning as it does at the end. July begs you to live in the moment. And yet, ABC is full of planners, so we can’t help but think of the fall!

Our signature free program, Digital Drawingboard, will kick off in September. This is the third year that we’ve hosted discussions, workshops, and panels all centered around the goal of improving online operations and programs for Philadelphia’s creative community. While Digital Drawingboard was once a response to the challenge of social distancing and closed venues, it is now a forward-thinking exploration of tech-centered strategies that can push organizations and businesses forward.

Departing from our fall cohort structure, ABC will host individual workshop sessions throughout the year (limited space available). We’ll explore topics like how to engage different generations with your programming and content, or how to think like a game designer. Join us for one or more of our sessions that continue until Spring 2023. Be sure not to miss our first session on September 7 from 10-12pm: a masterclass in social content, led by REC Philly’s Will Toms. The first 40 people to sign up will receive a free copy of Will Toms’ book, (Un)Common Sense: Your Strategy Guide to Creative Freedom.

As great as it is to live in the moment, it is also nice to have something to look forward to.

Best,
