BusinessOnBoard Volunteer of Year Award 2018 Winner Jeffrey Holder
Jeffrey Holder is Chairman of the Board of Directors for InLiquid Art + Design, and has been a commited and extremely hands-on member of the organization’s board for six years. As an artist himself, Jeffrey has also been an artist member of InLiquid since its founding in 1999. In these capacities, and leveraging his photography skills, he has sought out numerous opportunity to support the organization, including creative partnerships with organizations like the Barra Foundation, Career Wardrobe, and the Philly AIDS Fund.
In each case, he was able to creatively provide opportunities for InLiquid artist members, increase the reach of the organization into new audiences, and provide incredible value to many of our region’s top social impact programs. Holder participated in the Arts + Business Council’s nationally renowned board training program, Business On Board, in 2016, using the opportunity to strengthen board governance and organizational leadership, and expand InLiquid’s network into the business community. Through a combination of volunteerism, networking, in-kind and monetary support, and strengthening of leadership skills through Business on Board, Holder has been a major part of InLiquid’s growth over the past years. He has helped in laying the groundwork for many of InLiquid’s long-term goals, including the building of a stronger Board of Directors, the addition of a permanent gallery space (opened January 2018 at Crane Arts), and the development of long-term strategic mechanisms for the support of the region’s arts scene and artists through InLiquid’s programming.
May 23, 2018 marks the 33rd annual Arts + Business Council Awards Celebration, a major moment for milestones.
